Today we went over the basics of Set Theory. These include a bunch of symbols to try to confuse you, including: intersection (wicket), union (inverted wicket), complement (exponent c), cardinality (absolute value bars) and aleph null (N0) which is the size of the infinite set of integers.
Set theory is the foundation for modern mathematics, and also for doing database work, which is one of the best ways to make yourself employable.
