Setting up our first HOUSE in Icarus | An Ecologist Plays | ICARUS | Co-Op | Ep.2
0Hello there, all you wonderful people, and welcome to another episode of An Ecologist Plays, where we talk about nature while playing games! We recently started playing Icarus, and it has been so much fun that we decided to play it a bit during live streams... so, here we are with Part 1 (of five) of the live stream we had on 22 January 2025. In this part of the stream, we briefly talk about what the game is about, and drop onto the planet for oour Open World live stream. We get to work gathering some materials, and are immediately thrown a curveball with our first storm! We nabage to create a little "Outhouse" to survive the storm, and get to work setting up a more permanent house. I do, however, get a concussion due to a tree falling on my head...
Of course, as we play through the game, I discuss the ecology and adaptations of the various plants and animals we encounter, and answer any questions you may have.
