Despite the label’s misgivings the single went on to explode up the charts, win a Grammy and awards for the best music video as well as being routinely included best songs of all time lists…
Fun Fact: When Jack White was a young kid he misheard "The Salvation Army" as "The Seven Nation Army" and the title was initially a placeholder before being incorporated into the track
