Subject: Operation Reciprocity - Part 2
Date: 03APR1993
Weather: Bright Night 0000 local
SITUATION
The discovery of the murder of an American businessman, Peter Hardin, and his family, has outraged the United States President George Bush. Hardin seems to have been connected to a Colombian drug cartel, from which he skimmed over $650 million, The President has informed the National Security Advisor that the cartels represent a "clear and present danger" to the United States.
MISSION
Due to ODA-303's reconnaissance, command has ordered a direct action mission. This will primarily be targeting cartel assets in the southern harbor. Intel has identified the trawler you spotted as the "Spiridonov Vadim". If the ship is still in port, place demolitions on the propeller. It may not sink her, but at least she will be immobilized until an airstrike is ordered in the future. Assault the main drug houses and gather Intel. Additionally, place demolitions on any containers with drugs.
Secondly, command has ordered a night recon of the airfield. HQ needs to know what the southern hangers are housing potentially including cartel aircraft, drug containers, and the presence of any OPFOR. A special two man recon team will reconnoiter the airfield and report to main. If authorized, command may order a raid on enemy assets DC-3 at the airfield on the same night. Remember, your primary objective is destruction of enemy valuables. Avoid detection if able.
1. Assault drug port and destroy enemy equipment
2. Recon western airstrip
