79Think you know everything that went into the making of season 2 of the Netflix series Shadow and Bone. Based on the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, Shadow and Bone combines the Shadow and Bone trilogy with the Six of Crows duology. We’ll be discussing all sorts of things you missed and easter eggs, like the fact that the Grishaverse map is hidden in the patchwork for the Volkvony crew’s coats. And do you know how they created the Sea Whip for episode two? We’ll give you a hint: it includes a stuntman who was dressed entirely in a green screen morph suit! We’ll also be getting into the great parties that the cast would throw after their long filming days! Apparently, Kit Young was one of the biggest partiers around, while Ben Barnes was usually the first one to go to sleep! Calahan Skogman missed working with Danielle Galligan this season, seeing as Matthias was locked away from Nina in Hellgate! Jessie Mei Li had a hard time with the Hungarian heat this time around, even though they were able to film out of the same sandpit where they filmed Dune! Jack Wolfe revealed that he was extremely proud of the way that the relationship between Wylan and Jesper turned out in season two. Showrunner Eric Heisserer also revealed that the speech delivered by Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker may not be happening at the same time as the events on screen in the finale episode, and that there may be something interesting going on with time there.
