I noticed this glitch pretty early on once I had the Cloak of Might or Power or Strength or whatever... The cloak that makes you do more damage to Colossi. If you equip the bow (possibly need to be in certain areas too) while wearing it, there is some odd glitch that happens with the transparency of the texture on the mesh that is the cloak. I'm sure you have seen this (or will see it) when you play. I've seen it very often, so it must be easy to duplicate the glitch.
