Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper (Part 1): A Murder in Whitechapel
109Part 1 of 16, of a walkthrough for "Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper". In this part, Holmes is in a melancholy mood, the same night that Jack the Ripper kills his third victim. When Holmes and Watson hear the news, they decide to do an unofficial investigation in Whitechapel, where the murder occurred.
Holmes' goal is to get the preliminary police reports. He must complete a lengthy trading sequence, in order to get them. First, he must find a missing bag. A man named Finley promises to get the bag, if Holmes gets rid of a man named the Captain. The police say to visit the Captain's niece Lucy, who wants medical care. The Baker Street Irregulars help locate the Captain, and Dr. Watson does a brief medical analysis. He writes a prescription, which is filled by Dr. Gibbons at the local clinic.
Finley is satisfied by Holmes' work, and he hands over the bag. Holmes solves a puzzle to unlock it, and he is rewarded at last with a preliminary police report. This report is an autopsy report.
