Shin Chan’s Summer Vacation is a great summertime game
A spin off of the long running Japan only My Summer Vacation video game series (Boku no Natsuyasumi), Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey, is a great capstone to the summer. Although considered a spin off of the main series, this is the closest we’ve come to an English localization of My Summer Vacation. Level-5 previously released Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale in the west, which was also developed by Millennium Kitchen and carried similar themes and mechanics.
Shin-Chan Summer Vacation game is pleasant, pastoral and, as the kids might say, cozy. It’s a great game to relax and unwind on a sunny evening, just before the cicadas give way to katydids. This video is kind of a review, but mostly just my thoughts and recommendation.
