As a long time fan of both the Sony PSP and the Sony PS Vita, I find myself disappointed about Sony’s poor handling of these great handhelds.

I bought the PSP with its first redesign, the PSP-2000, which came with a copy of Daxter. I also bought Jeanne D’arc and Monster Hunter Freedom 2 with it. i loved it. It was, in my opinion, the first true competitor to the Nintendo handheld dynasty. My PSP collection was about 100 games at its peak. Based on my love for the PSP, I bought the Vita day one (and at one point, even owned the entire launch day library).

These systems were better than even Sony ave them credit for. It’s a shame that Sony didn’t have the confidence, nor the marketing prowess, to better position the PSP and the Vita and their catalog of games.
