This was an older boss fight that I'd somehow forgotten to upload and skipped, but tbh it could fit anywhere in the timeline. I fought this one before Margit, but since Margit mentions the Night's Cavalry hunting you down in his death speech, it's more fitting to run into them afterward.

I didn't wanna resort to a lot of magic, but I wasn't used to fighting them at all, so safely hitting him, or hitting him at all, was annoying. At the time, at least.

You also wanna never be on the horse's right side. It has a shoulder check move (that horses can't do in real life, but go figure) that's almost unreactable. Plus, being on the horse's left when it wants to do the shoulder check has it rear up and slam, which is easy to punish. Just gotta watch out for the rider's followup.

All in all, not a bad fight. Good thing, since it's far from the only one.
