Shock Cannon High CZ Test | Raw Footage | Elite Dangerous: Odyssey
25A discussion on Shock Cannons arose over on the Forums that reminded me I had done some tests with them recently (thread can be found here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/are-shock-cannons-worth-a-go.608623/). This footage showcases a quick ~30 minute test on how long Shock Cannons can last in a High CZ, as well as how many Standard Synths I need to keep them running.
As it turned out, I needed 15 Standard Synths (5 full refills for my 3 Shock Cannons) to complete one, though that does include the two or so I had to burn in that first CZ I abandoned because a Cap Ship dropped in. That 15 Synths meant I burnt:
- 75 Grid Resistors
- 45 Heat Dispersion Plates
- 60 Focus Crystals
- 75 Phase Alloys
- 45 Units of Lead
in a little under 30 minutes. FDEV, plz buf.

It's been a little while since I last uploaded a video - Minun's been keeping my busy, and I decided against posting another video of me rocketing Kaiser Cultivation Centre for the 1000th time. So, here's something a little different this time around :P
I've taken a different approach to Minun and am working on a way to fit that into a video, assuming I can pull off a veeeeery delicate BGS maneuver that may or may not actually end up working. Hopefully I'll be back to the regular programming soon.
