My wife and I play video games together every night, and if you saw our top 10 video for 2022, you know that we really enjoyed playing LittleBigPlanet 3 together last year.
Since we enjoyed that game so much, we decided that we’d give the previous game in the series a go.
We were happy to find out that, except for a few differences like the types of power-ups available, LittleBigPlanet 2 is pretty much exactly like 3.
It’s a wild and engaging platformer where the levels are multi-layered and blend 2D and 3D gameplay.
The story is ridiculous and impossible to follow, but that doesn't really matter - It’s all about just having a good time.
Co-op mode can be accessed at any time just by turning on a 2nd controller, and this is absolutely the type of game that goes from being good to great when played with a partner or friend.
The only real negative I associate with this game is the fact that it’s only available on the PlayStation 3.
In fact, there are so many great co-op games stuck on PS3 that I ended up buying a used console just so we could play them.
So, if you have a way to play it, we absolutely recommend playing LittleBigPlanet 2 in co-op.
