Get your wallets ready, because The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will be Nintendo’s first game to be priced at $70.

We just got a really fantastic Nintendo Direct. In fact, it was suspiciously good.

Every Nintendo Direct usually sparks some sort of drama, but there was something for everyone in this presentation, and the comments were overwhelmingly positive.

But once the pre-order page for Tears of the Kingdom went live, it was discovered that the rumors we’d been hearing were true - Tears of the Kingdom will be a $70 game.

In a way, it's not like this is a total shock - PlayStation and Xbox have been selling games for $70 for the past few years. So, it was inevitable that Nintendo would eventually follow suit.

Nintendo values its IP’s more than any other company in gaming. And, keep in mind, this new Zelda is the most anticipated game of 2023.
