Sieger 2 is based off the first game. Then again since there wasn’t really much of a plot in the first game, then it’s unclear if Sieger 2 is an actual continuation of the first game. Sieger 2 doesn’t have to be connected to the first game plot wise of course. Sieger 2 is much like the first game in terms of the gameplay and the look simply had a nice little upgrade. Make sure to siege all enemy castles and avoid killing the hostages in the process.

Aesthetics:

Sieger 2’s visuals are a step up from the first game. While it maintains a lot of the same art style and character models from the first game, let’s just say that they were improved. The game looks a bit shinier than the first game. It looks brighter as well as being better with the highlights and the outlines. The terrain is also similar but again much polished than the previous game. The previous game had only one track of music and that was mostly for the menu part. The same music is used on Sieger 2 and again during the stages, there is no music playing probably so that you can concentrate.

Gameplay:

Sieger 2 is much like the first game where you need to destroy things with your ammo. Naturally it wouldn’t be that easy or else the game would be a breeze to play through. The player has a limited number of ammo to use. There are also different types of ammo to use in each level. The ammos can be combined or used alone depending on what is given to you. The concept of the game is that of a puzzle so you need to know which ammo to use since it can destroy things and some ammo can’t penetrate to other materials in the level. In each level the objective is to actually kill all enemy units in the level. The amount of destruction you can do doesn’t really matter as you simply need to kill all enemies. If you run out of ammo and there are still enemies in the level then it will fail. You will have unlimited tries so you can try and play it again. There is also the fact that you can gain a rating of Gold, Silver or Bronze depending on the amount of ammo you can use. There are some levels that can be finished with one ammo alone so make sure you find all the possible angles to finish it. Then again it doesn’t matter what your rating is as long as you finish the actual level. The amount of destruction you can do doesn’t affect the rating that you will get on the level. In some levels there are also hostages. They have an exclamation point over their head and if a hostage dies, then the level fails even if just one of them is killed. Just continue to solve the puzzles and destroy most of the things.
