392These two brothers finally escaped the prison but it seems they will need to visit the prison again. Join them on a rescue mission in this puzzle and platform game called Money Movers 2! Just like before, your goal here is to move the characters and reach the exit safely. Both brothers should reach the elevator so that you can complete the level. The money bags are still here and you should collect them all so you can unlock a bonus level. You should not forget those security devices that can get you caught. Use the abilities of each brother to solve the puzzles.
Overview:
When the first Money Movers game ended, the brothers were living a life of freedom and some mild luxury. Apparently seen in the opening comic strip the brothers are still wearing their orange prison suits even when already on the outside. They get a letter from their father one day that he needs help from escaping his prison. The brothers don’t hesitate as they storm to the prison to get their father out and so they did.
Aesthetics:
Money Movers 2’s graphics are primarily the same as the first game. It uses cartoon graphics with colorful and vibrant visuals set to a 2D format. The animations are still fluent as ever when it comes to the movement of the characters and the things around the terrain are fluent as always. The music is still as good and it’s different from the first game. The good thing is it still has that same feel with the tone of the game which is two criminals sneaking out of jail or in this case into jail. You are still treated to a nice little comic book opening to the game.
Gameplay:
Money Movers 2 uses the same gameplay mechanics as the first game. You still get to control the two brothers in alternating fashion or at the same time if they can do it. The smaller brother can be controlled with the use of the WASD keys. The bigger brother can be controlled with the arrow keys. Just like the first game, each brother has their specific trait. The smaller brother is fast, can jump high and enter small areas. The bigger brother can push and toss items. He is also a bit slower but makes a higher jumping surface. The goal in each level is to go to the exit provided that both brothers are there. Players have to find the right route for each brother to get to the exit. There are often blocks and bars that hinder them from progressing in the level. The brothers can also jump on each other to serve as a platform to give them that extra leverage when they jump. There are some obstacles in the levels that prevent you from getting further. There are also the moving obstacles like the guards and other prisoners. They can hit a brother and thus make the level fail. These people can be stricken with an object and they won’t get up again. There are also lasers in the game that will turn red from green thus making the level fail as well. You can also block these lasers with different things. There are also the hiding spots that the brothers can hide to avoid getting seen by the guards or the lasers. The money bags return and there are three in each level. Getting all of them can unlock the secret level at the end but you don’t need to get them to finish the level. Help the brothers in freeing their dad and escaping prison.
