Some found footage shot in Detroit in the Summer of 1980.

Whoever shot this footage was filming landmarks and attractions in Detroit at the time.
I was fascinated viewing the images and seeing all of the big names that appeared on the venue marquee's.

Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Hall, Greek Town, Detroit Historical Museum, Music Hall, Fisher Theatre etc.

It's very interesting to see what was happening in Detroit that day.
Along with all of the signs, we also see some footage of Harry Chapin performing at Pine Knob.
One of my favourite bits is the Americana Theatre marquee and the films that were screening that day.
