I came across a 16mm film copy of "The Canadian."
I digitized it so I could post it on YouTube.

The canister indicates that the film was printed in 1964, but was produced in 1955.

The film had turned red over the years (vinegar), so I desaturated it to black and white.

* This is only the first half of the film. If people are interested, I will post the rest later.

The film is an advertisement for the train that took passengers from Montreal to Vancouver.
In Part 2 the train crosses the prairies to the Rocky Mountains and then on to Vancouver.
