Siku 1884 | MAN Lion's City | German Doubledecker Bus | 1:87 scale/HO Scale | Review | HD
This is my review of the Siku MAN Lion's City Double Deck Bus in the 1/87 scale/HO scale and this is the only LHD model bus that I have in my small collection of model buses. The model is a budget line model bus and the detail is basic but it can be upgraded with after market decals and the model can be dismantled by releasing the two screws underneath to fit a driver and passenger figures if required. These model buses are quite cheap at £10-14 each and the detail is reasonably good as well although you shouldn't expected it to match that of Creative Master, Corgi or Cars Workshop. This bus in the real world is actually longer in length than the Enviro 500 buses that are in Hong Kong as this MAN Lion's City bus is 13.7 metres long in length and has the three door configuration as opposed to the usual two door set up that is typical of modern UK and Hong Kong buses that I have seen. These buses are operating in Germany in the the city of Berlin. Also this model is in HO scale, so it will fit in well with HO scale model railways.
