Train-Tech TT1 Model Train Track Tester Module For N, TT, HO & OO Gauge Review HD
This is my review of the Train-Tech TT1 N, TT, HO and OO gauge model train railway track tester module for DC, AC and DCC. In my opinion this is a very neat little gadget that is vital for anyone that either has or is building a model railway in any of these scales mentioned. This device will tell where the track has excellent conductivity and where there is poor conductivity on your model railway and the bonus for this device is that it takes the headaches and frustrations out of finding the "dead" spot where trains are losing power or stalling. The device is tested under analogue DC 12 volts mode where the LED indicator lights up in Green and Red depending on direction or polarity of the current that is fed into the track. On AC and DCC mode, the LED will light up as Amber although I do not have a DCC controller yet to test the device on DCC although I am gradually upgrading my model trains to DCC ready for when I get a DCC controller. An essential bit of kit for any model railway owner.
