21This is a review of the Bachmann Class 57/3 in the Direct Rail Services livery numbered as 57309 and it is a recent release from Bachmann in their 2015 range. The model has been upgraded as this locomotive has working cab lights which the previous one didn't have this. There is some metal nameplates that Bachmann have included that you can add to the model if you wish to enhance it. Also there is a pack of detail parts for the bufferbeam and a baffle box for the speaker for those that wish to add sound into this model. I will probably vouch for DCC sounds a bit later but this locomotive will be getting a DCC decoder later. The performance is very nice and the Class 57/3 handled the test train with ease with no signs of struggle or anything to note. All in all, a very nice model from Bachmann.
