An easy simple DIY circuit by Danyk to make police flash light using 2 x 555 Timer. In this video there are simple modification by adding 100 KOhm potentiometer on the first 555 timer chip to control the flash speed and also using 16 LEDs (8 green and 8 white LEDs).

Unfortunately there were no Red and Blue LEDs for these project and force to use whatever available (Green and White LEDs). If the Red and Blue are being used that flash would resemble closely to the police flash light. Schematic diagram of the flash circuit is included in the video
