Simple Elytra Launcher - Minecraft Tutorial Build - Java Edition

The build is very simple but at the same time it's easy to make mistakes. The most annoying mistake you can make is when 100 boats escape and spreads on the ground and needs to be picked up manually one by one. Other mistakes could be to touch boats so they move or naturally place blocks in the wrong place. When I built it at first I had only one source block of water and I couldn't understand why the launcher didn't work although it looked right.
I don't know the best number of boats, but at least one chest is required for the launcher to work. With two chests you get a really nice launch and it will take you a good 500 blocks. More chests (with boats) might give you additional velocity but I understand that this might vary because of minor differences with lag, computer performance, server lag or other reasons. For me, it worked fine with a filled double chest (in the video in the beginning) for what I wanted to use it for.
If I find out about smart upgrades or get additional info (regarding the amount of boats or so) I'll try to remember to add the info here.
Blocks used to build this:
x Boats - I guess anything from one to five single chests
1 Piston - Used only while building
1 Dispenser - Used only while building
1 Lever - Used only while building
4 Walls, I used Stone Brick Wall in this video
3 Glass panes
2 Water blocks (I guess you need buckets)
3 Slabs
2 Signs
12-20 Glass, depending on how you want to build the "drop"
Half a stack of regular building blocks, like bricks or wood.
