These designs are not limited to vanilla or specific versions of Minecraft as I think the cart and rail functionality has been the same for quite some time as far as I know. The focus of this video is not for you to copy all "stations", but to discuss some of the aspects of building a double track system and split tracks in general.
It all started with an idea of making a rail system for people transportation on the community server. But if there are several travelers at the same time, you should really consider double tracks. With only end stations, or a big loop, things will be simple, but as soon as you get into junctions you need to plan more and spend additional time.
Not saying these are the perfect stations or junctions, but these are the designs I have made and I wanted to show and discuss them. If you have advice, tips or just kind things to say, you know where to drop your comment :)
The obviously missing design is a 4-way junction but I had not looked into that at the time of recording. Here's a link to my 4-way design:

Of course I have looked at some other videos and some inspiration comes from those but I tried to do my own versions and clarify some details more as well as not do some mistakes that I have seen other people do.
