SimRaceWay (2011) - Every PC F1 Game
SimRaceWay by Ignite Game Technologies, 2011.
SimRaceWay is an rFactor-engine-based online racing simulation. Launching in public beta in 2011, it's gradually fallen more-and-more offline, so that only people who are already signed up can actually still access it.
I've used the full range of modern McLaren F1 cars in the game, which covers cars from 2010 to 2014. The game has classic McLaren cars (and Lotus, etc) but I've focused on the most recent ones.
1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 Monza isn't in the game, so here's the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic. The computer-controlled cars are on maximum and are trying to wreck me!
2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:31 There's no rain in this game, so here's an evening clip from Silverstone.
3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:47 This is the game's fictional Troyton circuit, which features a Monaco-like tunnel.
4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 1:07 There's no Spa, so here's Laguna Seca's "Corkscrew" corner. Again I've used evening time instead of rain (as there isn't any!).
5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:28 This is the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), as Interlagos isn't in the game. I sped up the pitstop, as it took over 40 seconds to replace my front wing! The pitstop is a pretty basic affair, at least there's a radar view to help position your car! The dark shade on the right is where the pit-in menu appeared, it seems to leave it after the menu has been on-screen!
6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:48 This is the Chinese Guangdong International Circuit (GIC) instead of Montreal. Crashes here are similar to rFactor; huge, silly, and funny!
