Previously, Davilas wrapped up the main Dark Brotherhood quest line with "Hail Sithis!" and "Where You Hang Your Enemy's Head...". Now, he will begin looking for the remaining Stones of Barenziah that he has yet to find for "No Stone Unturned".

After resuming, Davilas fast-travels to the Thieves Guild in Riften. He chats with Vekel the Man in the Ragged Flagon. When asked what he needs done, Vekel asks Davilas to find the journals of a necromancer named Arondil in Yngvild. This starts the objective "Enter Yngvild Barrow". Yngvild is also the location of a Stone of Barenziah.

To get to Yngvild, Davilas fast-travels to Hela's Folly on an icy island east of Dawnstar. From Hela's Folly, he rides south and finds Yngvild on the same island.

Davilas enters the first zone of Yngvild. This completes "Enter Yngvild Barrow" and starts "Retrieve Arondil's Journals (0/4)".

In this icy cave, Davilas finds leveled Draugr and Yngvild Ghosts. Oddly, all the Yngvild Ghosts are female. While progressing, Davilas finds "Anrondil's Journal, Part 1", "Arondil's Journal, Part 2", and "Arondil's Journal, Part 3". They are a bit sickening. It may be difficult to pick up the third, so you may want to try saving and reloading the game if you are having trouble.

Davilas proceeds to the dungeon's second zone, Yngvild Throne Room. There, he finds Arondil sitting on his throne. An Yngvild Ghost will attack along with him. Expect Arondil to use a lot of powerful magic. His corpse carries Arondil's Key.

In the bedroom behind the throne room, Davilas finds Stone of Barenziah #17. On the same table, he finds "Arondil's Journal, Part 4". After getting all the disturbing journals, Davilas must "Return to Vekel". This is also a possible place to find a Grand Staff of Charming.

Beyond, Davilas find a spiral stairway leading back up to Yngvild, the first zone. From there, he exits the cave.

Davilas fast-travels back to the Thieves Guild in Riften. In the Ragged Flagon, he reports to Vekel the Man. "The Man" rewards him with a random enchanted weapon. This concludes the quest for Arondil's Journals. However, due to a bug, Vekel does not take the journals themselves.

Next, Davilas will visit Rannveig's Fast, which is in the mountains south of Morthal. To get there, Davilas fast-travels to Swindler's Den east of Rorikstead and then rides due north. After crossing the stream, he soon finds Rannveig's Fast. A random dragon attacks as he arrives. Subjugated Ghosts are the enemies in the area.

Up the slope north of Rannveig's Fast, Davilas discovers South Cold Rock Pass. However, he has no need to pass through presently.

Davilas enters Rannveig's Fast, a one-zone Nord ruin. Subjugated Ghosts patrol this area against their will.

Davilas soon finds the room with the Word Wall. Be careful of the obvious trap door in front of it! At the Word Wall, Davilas learns "Trust", the last word of "Kyne's Peace".

Proceeding through the ruin, after operating a lever, Davilas can go downstairs to the prison area, where he takes out Sild the Warlock, the boss of the area. Sild carries the Rannveig's Fast Key, which opens most if not all of the locks here. Searching the boss chest, Davilas finds a Staff of the Frost Atronach. Handy.

On the table in the prison, Davilas finds "Horror of Castle Xyr", which increases Destruction when read. He finds "Sild's Journal", which alleviates any guilt I would have had about killing Sild. Also, Davilas finds Stone of Barenziah #18.

Note that the trap door in front of the Word Wall leads to the half-submerged cell in the middle of the prison.

Davilas eventually finds an exit out to Skyrim. It is some distance to the east of the entrance to the ruin.

Continuing his search for Stones of Barenziah, Davilas fast-travels to the College of Winterhold. He finds Stone of Barenziah #19 in the Arch-Mage's Quarters in the main building. The stone is on a bookshelf in the north-northeast of the room.

Then, Davilas fast-travels to the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm. In the northwest of town, he breaks into the House of Clan Shatter-Shield. On the second floor, he finds Stone of Barenziah #20 on a shelf in the northern bedroom.

Next time, Davilas will wrap up the search for Stones of Barenziah and finish up "No Stone Unturned".

Thanks for watching!
