Previously, Davilas explored Forelhost southeast of Riften, acquired the Rahgot mask, and did the quest "Siege on the Dragon Cult". Now, he will finish collecting the Dragon Priest masks available in the province of Skyrim.

After doing some inventory management at home, Davilas fast-travels to the Abandoned Shack north of Morthal. After taking out a pesky dragon, he finds High Gate Ruins at the northern base of the mountain to the northeast.

In the first room, he finds an adventurer named Anska. She asks for Davilas's help finding a scroll in the crypt of an ancient priest named Vokun. In return, he can keep everything aside from the scroll. This starts the quest "A Scroll for Anska".

With Anska's help, Davilas explores High Gate Ruins. Per usual for Nord ruins, these have a Draugr infestation.

Eventually, Davilas will come to a room with a switch puzzle. He must hit the switches in this order: Eagle, Whale, Fox, Snake. The Fox marker is missing from the northern wall, but it is still there on the southern wall. This unlocks a stairway leading down.

Davilas proceeds to the second zone, High Gate Ruins Catacombs. Anska is useful, but she makes sneaking difficult.

Finally, Davilas finds the exit to the third zone, Vokun's Throne Room. In the main room, he does battle with Vokun. Like Rahgot, he throws fire magic around. Fortunately, he does not have Draugr backup, and Anska is around to help. Vokun carries the Vokun mask, which reduces the magicka cost of Conjuration, Illusion, and Alteration spells by 20%. Davilas also finds a Staff of Fireballs on him.

In the Word Wall room, Davilas finds the Sealed Scroll. He hands it over to Anska. "A Scroll for Anska" complete! She rewards Davilas with a spell tome.

Davilas approaches the Word Wall. He learns "Lightning", the last word of "Storm Call".

Davilas finds an exit back to High Gate Ruins, the first zone. He unlocks a shortcut and then exits the ruin.

Davilas heads home to Lakeview Manor. After putting his excess stuff away, he takes out his Dragon Priest masks. He also fast-travels to Whiterun so he can take out the Dragon Priest masks in storage at Breezehome. The eight masks are Hevnoraak, Krosis, Morokei, Nahkriin, Otar, Rahgot, Vokun, and Volsung.

Then, Davilas fast-travels to Labyrinthian. There is a low dome in the center of Labyrinthian. In front of a ruined wall, he finds the intriguing "Hired Thug's Missive". By the skeleton of the apparent victim, he finds a Wooden Mask.

When Davilas wears the Wooden Mask, he is taken back in time to when the ruins stood. He puts each Dragon Priest mask on its appropriate bust on the mask wall. This unlocks the center, where he finds the Konahrik mask. When the wearer's health is low, this mask has a chance to heal the wearer and damage nearby enemies. At this point, Davilas can take back the Dragon Priest masks from the busts.

Davilas removes the Wooden Mask to return to the present. He fast-travels back home to put the masks into storage.

Next time, Davilas will finish off the bedroom wing of his house and then do some domestic activities.

Thanks for watching!
