Aesmer D'zinnda is an "apprentice mage" or "mage trainee" as he describes himself. He may come from a family of powerful wizards, but right now he's anything but. Why then is he constantly risking his life, or having his life put in danger by others (damn you Tolfdir,) when he really should be in the library studying?

Well, it seems that in the land of Skyrim, if anyone wants anything done they have to do it themselves. Which actually means, they get Aesmer to do it. So the normally shy and retiring mage, a stranger in a very strange land, has no choice. If he wants anything to get done, if he wants the Library's books found and the mystery of the orb solved, he's the man.

No wonder he is gaining a reputation at the college. He's the only person there who's actually DOING ANYTHING. Everyone else is collecting welfare checks or something, selling drugs, but they sure aren't WORKING.

Who the hell pays for them to lounge around and creep in stairwells? Does the College talk elderly mages into leaving it all to the College in their will? Who gets that part of the work done? Drevis Neloren goes around and hits them all with charm spells, I'll wager.
