Olaf Wuulfrith is a loyal Nord who wants to be a Stormcloak soldier more than he wants anything... except staying alive. He's kind of a chicken, but he also has no experience as a warrior. Finally disgusted with his own cowardice (as well as his resulting drunkenness to cover his shame,) Olaf decides he is going to turn himself into a real warrior so that he may one day be good enough to join his precious Stormcloak rebellion.

(He doesn't realize or want to realize that the Stormcloaks, just like the Imperial Legion, is composed mostly of luckless farmboys with one foot in their graves. Expendable unskilled cannon fodder, pretty much.)

In this episode, Olaf rescues another civilian, wipes out a few bandits, and goes in search of a good mead to chase the rainy-day blues away. And accidentally stumbles on Helgen and a dragon.
