Hello everybody, SlimKirby here!

Back on November 9th, 2019, I hosted an all-day Randomizer stream to celebrate my 12-years of being on Youtube. Randomizer felt like the perfection theme for this year's marathon because not only have I been incredibly obsessed with it for the last few years, but I've also gotten very familiar with a decent number of Randomizers (enough to fill 24-hours anyway) and all the randomizers I will be showcasing will be of games I've LP'd on this Youtube Channel, so I figured, why not?

I spent the entire day playing randomizer as a result, and while the stream went overtime (which I was more than prepared for), I think I accomplished the task very successfully and any hold-ups were due to the nature of randomizer (for example, getting a tough/rough seed). I will be uploading the VODs of this stream on my main Youtube channel, and not my stream archive channel, because this was initially intended as a 12-Year stream celebration of my Youtube channel, not Twitch channel.

The next randomizer I selected for the marathon was Donkey Kong 64 Randomizer. Unlike the ALTTP Randomizer, this randomizer is a lot more volatile and hasn't had a super active development cycle, so a lot of the stuff that you see here today is very alpha-build-like. Instead of items, what's shuffled in this randomizer is entrances, and the entrances themselves are decoupled, so you could enter a cave in Jungle Japes and end up in Gloomy Galleon, and if you tried to re-enter the cave in Galleon, you could end up in Crystal Caves. There are also some boss fights that are pretty hard and almost unplayable if you get a specific kong randomized for them. Some gold bananas are just unobtainable....there's a lot of stuff that needs to be worked out with the rando still, and who knows when that will happen. I only recommend this randomizer if you are familiar with DK64 to a huge degree and if you don't mind putting up with decoupled entrance aspect. Otherwise, wait for a more playable build. Since Donkey Kong 64 is one of the games I'm most known for though, I had to cover this for this marathon.
