Description:
Kyo and Jarret are crewmates on the Blue Crest mercenary ship, where they do odd jobs and enjoy the seafaring life. One day, they are tasked with recovering their captain's antique coin, which is wanted by both petty thieves and the church.

0:00 Blue Crest
For some reason, when you go to bed, you get the option to wait certain periods of time until you reach the port. I waited 15 minutes each time to get as many events as possible.
6:13 Port City Terraja
You can't buy any equipment here yet, since the shopkeeper doesn't sell to strangers. Jarret wants Kyo to find him some triptophia, a plant with the same effect as eyedrops.
Don't forget to challenge the Blade Pawn here to a duel, and remember to focus on storage space. Leave the town to the north for a cutscene

You can mine stones that can be used as either throwing actions or for making new accessories.
21:37 Mouth of Triptophia River
I hope you saved recently, since you only get one shot to get all the chests.
Kyo sees a ghost version of himself, Hyo, who wants to take over the latter's body. Somehow, this involves pushing him down the river. While going down the river, you can gain or lose money, but you must hit all the items to complete the area's chest count.

Jarret speaks to his sister, Retsi, who shares a grim past with him.
Once you return to town, Jarret will greet Kyo, but sometimes, Kyo's text will change to red to match Hyo, who is possessing him.
32:04 Indigo Caverns
Rev Lis went into this cave with the coin.
Be sure to duel Blade Pawn 3 before descending.
As you enter, you get a cutscene where a soldier discusses a trap that Elbram set in the cave.
Rev Lis is stuck on the other side of a pond, so we have to solve a bunch of puzzles and get a new key item that can destroy crystal obstacles.
Unfortunately, but the time you create a path for Rev Lis, he leaves behind a note stating that he had to leave the coin in the final room because of a powerful monster.
49:21 Boss: Mutant Doll Head
I used Arc Unpacker, but even then, the bosses aren't explicitly named. This boss is much worse the the one before it and the one after it, since it can heal itself and its minions on top of having access to multiple ailments and AOE spells. If the battle loads with defense aura, reload. Magic aura might help in killing the minions, but the boss itself has very high resistance to most of the elements the characters can naturally cast. Physical aura and speed aura are your best bets, since you might be able to out-DPS its healing with some luck. Unlike me, you may also want to stock throwable mineral items to cover elements that you cannot naturally cast.
Also, the ATB fills while in the item menu, like in Sacred Earth Bonds. This and the heal spam really burnt me out from the constant retries.
52:00 Escaping the Cave
The bombs mentioned in an earlier cutscene explode, causing a time limit to appear. You actually have to go back to a previous room to flip a switch, and then loop back around to the entrance. Wish they let us make an emergency save file for this.
Once you get out, you'll be arrested for trespassing on Anetha holy ground.
53:40 Jailbreak
For the first two days in jail, you must examine events to get 4 rations each day.
Eventually, you will have to pretend to be Hyo in order to fool Athena into opening the bars for you. Then you have to play an obstacle course minigame to escape.
1:10:49 Anetha City
Jerret will leave the party to use the coin to help Retsi somehow.
Explore and buy stuff. You may want to buy gear even for characters not in the party, in case they join soon.
To leave the city, go into the church. Elbram wants to send Athena with a bodyguard in order to grab the coin at the Tower of Shadows. He picks Kyo, but doesn't seem to realize his resemblance to Hyo. Athena reluctantly agrees to team up with us.

We get a flashback where Lance leaves Luhar to start his own thieving career.
