Description:
Kazuki, the Dark Lord of Theiweth, attempts to raise an army of monsters to conquer the world. Unfortunately, he and his army are defeated by Kamlyn, a common village boy with no combat experience. After narrowly escaping death, Kazuki and his top enforcer, Minori, must find a way to regain power, and this somehow involves fighting the Dark Lords of other worlds.

The recent patch fixed the difficulty slider, which is why I speak as if I played the first two bosses of the game already.
0:00 Kamlyn the Hero
This is supposed to be the prologue where the hero defeats the Dark Lord, but we don't get to play as either side in this fight. A shame, since this could have been an opportunity to show off basic battle mechanics.
2:08 Generic Village
After escaping, Kazuki and Minori find themselves on an island with a single village and cave. The village elder overhears them and suggests going to the Cave of Ideals, where an ambitious chosen one is supposed to take on a quest in exchange for a wish. This sounds too good to be true.
Be on the lookout for Rin Coins on the ground. They can be hard to spot, but there's probably a reward for collecting them all.

The orcs guard a lot, but Kazuki has a skill that punishes guard. The bats will die in one hit to light magic.
Be sure to activate the shortcut on the first floor to make it easier to retreat to town if needed.
In the basement, you can use the statue to save and heal, but note that future statues won't always heal you.
15:26 Boss: Ogre (Hard)
If you want to beat the bosses on hard, be sure to grind enough money to upgrade both characters' gear. If you're lucky, you can proc blind on the boss with Kazuki's dark elemental spell.
16:52 Star
After the Ogre's demise, all enemies on this floor will disappear. Flip the switch and go to the northernmost room, where you will hear a voice detailing what Kazuki must do. Star wants Kazuki to prove his worth by defeating the Dark Lords of all other worlds, which might be hard considering how Kazuki can't even keep his own world under control.
19:01 Sineba Desert
This new world is full of sand and heat. When you enter the next area, Kazuki will pass out and wake up in a cave. A native of this world, Suphis the Narcissist Bard, joins the party.
You can only last 40 seconds outside, so try to avoid fights out there. There is a shop with a healing save point if you do need to grind though.
At the last outside area, you'll have to deal with mobs that block 1-tile passageways, but these special mobs won't respawn even if you pass out.
27:23 Desert Town
The town shaman, Anneke, states that the only thing that can be considered a Dark Lord around here is the ghost of the tyrant, King Sekani. She can use her third eye to look into the past, but while she figures out which world Kazuki is from, she doesn't seem to be able to see further than that and learn his agenda. She wants us to prove our worth before she'll give us the key to Sekani's pyramid.
Go to the oasis to fight the Takion Bull as Anneke requested.
35:18 Boss: Takion Bull (Hard)
This is the first enemy with AOE spells, and he won't be the last. You'll need to have potions in stock in order to survive its AOE spam.
38:11 Pyramid Key
Report back to Anneke to get the key, but be sure to prepare supplies before going.
