Description:
Kyo and Jarret are crewmates on the Blue Crest mercenary ship, where they do odd jobs and enjoy the seafaring life. One day, they are tasked with recovering their captain's antique coin, which is wanted by both petty thieves and the church.

0:00 Spire to the Heavens
For some reason, there are fire rod obstacles that weren't there before, not that breaking them got me anything.
0:43 Precipice of Anthorell
When you press a button deep in the cave, you'll cause wooden bridges to show up. Before crossing the big one, be sure to grab all the treasure in the dungeon. They aren't hidden quite as heavily as the previous two.
8:19 Hyo's Survival
Kyo tells the other two to activate the mechanism across the bridge. For some reason, the mechanism looks a lot like the orb Deliaf had and turns crimson as well. When you go back down the bridge, you see that Hyo has fully possessed Kyo. Hyo paralyzes Jarret and reveals he ordered Naits to kidnap Retsi, implying he has clout withing Oragibe's military and government. He then orders Lance to kill Athena, but Lance attacks him instead.
Hyo is unfazed and reveals that he needs Athena dead so he can absorb her life essence and continue living. He then fatally wounds Athena.
14:38 Boss: Jarret and Lance
You'll play as Hyo rather than the good guys. Hyo has -aga tier spells despite everyone else only learning up to 3rd tier spells, so this will end quickly in Hyo's favor.
16:18 Hyo Wins
Hyo takes Athena's life essence, which means even the best medic wouldn't be able to save her now. He then leaves Kyo's body.
Kyo has a vague memory of his time with Anastasia.
19:13 Amnesia Again
Kyo has no memories and walks outside to find that Jarret buried Athena. IMO, this part should have been the beginning of the sequel, since the protagonist got amnesia. The amnesia doesn't carry as much weight if done near the end of the game compared to the beginning of another, since we are already aware of a lot. On the other hand, starting the sequel here would allow new players to start the sequel without relying too much on the first game, since they are just as green as Kyo.
22:51 Mesmer Trading Post
Lance refuses to join, since he has nothing to live for anymore.
At this outpost, you can't buy things with money, but you can trade items for different ones. Curiously, there is a staff trade, despite Athena being dead.
28:18 Mesmer Desert
Lance will suddenly decide to join and gives the party a canteen.
You can survive 10 min between water sources, which is pretty generous as long as you flee from battle using Jarret. However, the transport events are random. Sticking to a certain direction will increase you chances to getting to a specific location, but it's still extremely tedious if you get unlucky.
You need to go north to get a chance to find a tomb/graveyard area, where you can get the ice rod. This will allow you to find the exit to the east, but a mercenary is blocking the way and he's going to shake us down for info on Anastasia.
37:17 Boss: Roland
He can summon a minion and hits pretty hard if you didn't roll a Defensive Aura. You will need to rely on both Safe and Regen buffs to resist his damage.
39:11 Ending?
Save because when you leave to the east, the game will end and you'll get the opportunity to start NG+. However, there's still so many loose ends like the Blue Crest missions.
IMO, this is this is a terrible place to end narratively because the final boss is now some rando merc rather than Hyo vs the heroes. Rando mercs should be starter bosses!

I tried to let Jarret and Lance kill Hyo in the Precipice fight, but still got a game over.
