Slurpent (Strongest Yo-kai) is weak against Alcohol? Yo-kai Watch 2
303Slurpent's japanese name is Yamtan which when broken apart means 8 branches and Tongue. This refers to his 8 tongues which is incorporated in all his attacks. Yamatan also refers to a japanese folklore by the name of Yamata No Orochi about a 8 headed snake that was eating the daughters of a deity. The deity eventually stumbled upon another god named Susanoo and Susanoo helped them defeat Orochi in exchange for their daughter's hand in marriage. Serpents are apparently weak to alcohol as they cannot stop drinking and Susanoo basically fed him alcohol until he passed out. He easily defeated the snake monster after that and all was well for the family.
