Amazon launches Anime Strike which is an online anime streaming service similar to Crunchyroll. They already have exclusive deals to Fuji TV's noitamina block which includes very popular series such as Kabaneri Iron Fortress and many more to come. The total available episodes is still very different between the two with Crunchyroll's 15000 episodes available vs Anime Strike's ~1000. But Anime Strike is starting to invest into its own originals such as the upcoming Ghibli's Ronia, the Robber's Daughter which will obviously be exclusive on Anime Strike. Anime Strike is currently only available to prime members. It's $5 per month and does not come with Amazon prime. Versus Crunchyroll's 6.95/month that is available to everyone, it may be a little hard to convert people who don't already have a prime membership. But seeing how popular amazon prime is, it probably won't be a problem to them just yet.
