SNES - Tetris Attack - VS Mode Speedrun (Easy x5) - 15:50 IGT (32:36 RTA)
0A speedrun of 5 consecutive Easy difficulty runs in preparation for the upcoming Tetris Attack speedrun tournament.
So with the Tetris Attack speedrun tournament coming up very shortly, it's time to get to some training to try to get better and more consistent at this game. First up here is Easy difficulty in VS mode. Easy in this game is actually really difficult to get a really fast time in with how the AI behaves. Assuming your initial attack tops them off every time, how fast of a time you get depends on whether or not they get a clear on the garbage you send them. Most of the time the first clear they make is a vertical clear at the top of their stack since the first thing the AI always does at the beginning of every stage is flatten their stack.
This run actually started off really well with a fast first run, then the next 3 runs were more average with the last one being rather unlucky for the most part. Goal for this would be around 31:40 real-time which is around an average of 6 minutes real-time per run. Enjoy!
