SNES - Tetris Attack - VS Mode Speedrun (Hard x5) - 17:05 IGT (37:37 RTA)
0A speedrun of 5 consecutive Hard difficulty runs in preparation for the upcoming Tetris Attack speedrun tournament.
Moving on to the next difficulty up for more practice and training to get better and more consistent at this game. Hard in this game is, yet again, quite a bit better to speedrun than Normal. The AI is still slightly faster than on Normal difficulty, but still slow overall. But also with the overall speed of the game a fair bit quicker again, we can get more consistently faster stages than we could on Normal. Even if the AI clears your garbage once, you can still get under 20 seconds for that stage. Do be careful though, as stages can surprise you with having to send more garbage than normal, and the stages in the Cave of Wickedness can get away from you.
The first 4 runs were fairly solid. There were a few unlucky moments and a few mishaps, but overall solid. Unfortunately the last one had a lot of bad luck that put a bit of a damper on what could have been a very good run. Under 37 minutes real time is going to be the goal here. Enjoy!
