So why does that OTHER code exist? (Vectorman, Sega Genesis) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #segagenesis
856This code COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of that other code I showed off in a previous video. This game is Vectorman for the Sega Genesis and there's a super easy cheat code you can input right in the options menu to - among other things - access a level select screen.
Go to the options menu and press A, B, B, A, Down, A, B, B, A. This will take you to a secret menu that allows you to choose how much health you start with, how many lives you start with, what level you start on, and what weapon you begin with.

Well, since this cheat code lets you PICK WHICH LEVEL you start on AND MORE, it completely defeats the purpose of that level skip minigame. And it's MUCH easier?? So like that's the point of that other code?
