Okay, now I actually have a reason to revisit Sonic Adventure. If it's one thing I prefer Sonic Adventure over the sequel it's because of the controls, they just feel smoother for me. And this SA2 conversion mod demo is really cool... but it has problems.
My biggest problem that kind of ruins the experience for me is the camera... I know for a fact the camera in Sonic Adventure isn't all that great... but here... it sucks really bad. Weather it's the free camera or Lord have mercy on you, the auto camera, it just doesn't track Sonic all that well. Sonic Adventure 2 had the better dynamic camera in that sense.
You'll also notice some glitches here, mostly regarding scripting. It's still a demo, so I hope the person behind this will iron out the kinks. The demo features 3 levels: City Escape, Metal Harbour and Final Rush.
At the end I also showcase the Chao Garden. I know a lot of people have nostalgia for the Chao Garden... but I just couldn't care less about it. For me it's just a huge time waster, but I know people like it for the simply fact of raising your own little virtual pet. It's pretty evident I haven't messed about in the Chao Garden as I don't know exactly what to do...
