Playthrough of the version included on Sonic Gems Collection. The European version, which is what I have, lacks a 60hz options, so 50 frames per second is the best I can get I'm afraid.

Anyway, this version of Sonic CD is a slightly flawed port of the PC version, which had been released in 1995. There is no soundtrack select option -the Euro version uses the American Sonic CD soundtrack. The water in Tidal Tempest Zone is always clear, making it look like you aren't actually underwater most of the time. My Elgato also skipped a bit in this playthrough, as seen in the first act of Collision Chaos Zone. Sorry about that.

One advantage is that the animated sequences look much nicer on the Gems Collection version.
