Sonic CD's Special Stages take place on a Mode 7 style 3D floor. You'll need to destroy a few UFO's floating around before time runs out. Be careful not to touch the water, because your time will start ticking down super fast!
Luckily blue UFO's have powerups in them. Some have speed shoes and rings in them. A special blue UFO will spawn in the middle every time you run down to 20 seconds, and if you hit this, you'll gain an extra 30 seconds which can be very handy.
These special stages can be very difficult, but the first few are thankfully pretty easy. This one in particular has a lot of ground and easy to hit UFO's. It also has an absolutely wicked background, something future Special Stages will also have.
At this time, SuperFreaksDev has 489 views for Sonic CD spread across 22 videos. Less than an hour worth of Sonic CD videos were uploaded to his channel, roughly 1.06% of the content that SuperFreaksDev has uploaded to YouTube.
