Sonic now ventures through Eggman's latest fortress. One that seems more extreme than the Electric Egg!

Most of your action through this Zone will involve traveling through high-speed tubes. Some of these are even needed to break through walls, such as how you get to the ending of Act 1!

I have all of the Chaos Emeralds that I could get, but if you didn't Act 1's Emerald Monitor will be the Ring Monitor at 2:52. Meanwhile, you'll find Act 2's Emerald Monitor very early on in as the Ring Monitor that I passed by at 4:13. I eventually reach it at 4:37.

Atomic Destroyer Act 2 is your last chance to get all 5 of the collectible Chaos Emeralds. If you could not do that by that point, then no Good Ending for you!

After a little bit of traveling through Act 3, Sonic takes flight with the Propeller Shoes...

But then he gets knocked out of them... by his robotic doppelgänger: Metal Sonic!

You had to race against him in Sonic CD, but in Triple Trouble, you have a more formal fight against Metal, instead.

His two attacks are to either fly at you, or fly at you at lightning speed while protecting himself. In short, if Metal's glowing, jump over him! If he's not glowing jump at him!

After Metal Sonic takes enough of a beating, he's forced to flee. His battle is done...

But then Sonic meets up against Fang once again! He must be there to steal the final Chaos Emerald from Dr. Eggman. Sadly for him, he wasn't ready to deal with Eggman's high-powered pogo mech, which he will now use on Sonic!

For the first phase, Eggman uses his machine to fly above you, while pouring down a rain of fire from above if he stops. Just keep hitting the machine while avoid his periodic fire blasts.

For the second phase, the flamethrower detaches from the machine and explodes on the ground. Dodge the flames that come from it, then prepare to deal with Eggman's electric blasts next.

You deal more damage if the electricity isn't surging from the machine, or you can just hit it many times while it and make sure to dodge the lightning bursts when they come out.

In the third and final phase, Eggman keeps warping himself around the perimeter of the chamber you're in, while the chamber itself keeps blasting at you from above. Try to catch and hit Eggman while he's moving around and also while dodging the lasers.

If Eggman slows down, he's above to cause the whole chamber to explode in lightning. Looks like there was a spot I could find to dodge it without going to the edge.

If you can beat Eggman from here, he's down for good!

But then Eggman makes for one last escape, just like he did at the end of Eletric Egg, However, Sonic's not gonna let him get away, this time! He sends him plummeting to his demise, causing him to drop the 6th and final Chaos Emerald in the process.

Sonic then runs over, and see that Knuckles was captured in a cage, presumably because Eggman was not happy with him failing to defeat Sonic at the Tidal Plant.

Sonic then frees Knuckles, and after a few second, Knuckles accept his hand in a truce and a new friendship! They escape from the fallen Atomic Destroyer together!

If got all 6 Chaos Emeralds at this point, with the 6th one automatically given to you if you got the first five, then you'll see the Good Ending, where Sonic is sitting on top of his flying Tornado plane, piloted by Tails.

They sail through the skies all the way into the sunset and into the night, looking pretty eager for another adventure to take on...

Thanks for watching! I'm not done with this game yet, though. I now wanna take it on as Tails and see more of the difference between using him and Sonic are like!
