Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Water Hand Mixer - Test!
1,099Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is facing another survival test after its Zingo Freeze Test last month. The test is a water test where we will put the Z5 Compact inside a water beaker and mix it using a mixer. Let’s see what happens to the phone at the end.
The Z5 Compact is a device with IP68 certification for being water and dust proof just like the other Xperia Z devices prior to it. So to conduct the test we filled a beaker with water and put the phone completely immersed in it. After doing so, the hand mixer was put inside the beaker and turned on. This mixing process was done to get the water on all areas of the phone to see if the device survives in these harsh conditions.
Next we covered the beaker with a lid and shook it well, to ensure the water reaches all areas of the phone. After several seconds, the Z5 Compact was taken out to see the results.
Unfortunately I’ve hit the top part of the phone with the mixer which has caused some damage to the outer plastic cover. But all in all, the device worked fine as before after the experiment.
