Okay, yes, I'm basically starving, but when I find a cooker, when I find a cooker! We'll be very okay at that point. Cookers seem to show up roughly once a floor, so I'm optimistic. Rotten food, maybe it can be "cured"? I'll have to try it, but I absolutely need good food first, and I may backtrack to pick up the rotten stuff.

In full honesty, I'm worried how much left we have to show of this game. I mean yes, there's a lot, but I want to show the lot of it and I think we're already getting a lot just at this point! I'm hoping there's something substantially different soon, because it's kind of "samey" thus far. This isn't bad... if anything, a lot of early roguelikes do the same thing: I guess in the 2010s I just expect more. I like the game, but how much new business is there?

Well okay, to be fair we did mods. The real issue is that I don't have access to most of the recipes. Recipes are probably the cool part of the game. Maybe I should exhaust all reasonable possibilities. Sounds like a plan???
