Sotto said they thought the weather would be better by Monday morning. The Senate leader further said he was also informed by Senator Panfilo Lacson that half of the Senate employees were affected by floods. In a tweet, Lacson’s office also announced the suspension of the hearing of the Senate committee on public order scheduled at 10 a.m. “The hearing by the Senate Committees on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs and Local Government on the rank classification in the Philippine National Police will not push through today due to bad weather conditions,” it read. Lacson chairs the committee on public order.
