Super Turrican 2 - Super Nintendo - Intro & First World Gameplay [720p 60fps]
1Showing off the very best the SNES had to offer Factor 5 tweaked the Turrican gameplay to make it more like Contra for the second and last SNES title. The result speaks for itself with a game some would say is the best in the series. Unfortunately it's a bit of a lost classic on the SNES as the game released late in the SNES's life and didn't sell that well, making it quite pricey to buy these days. Not the easiest game either as you can tell from the video. Also worth a watch just to listen to the music of Chris Huelsbeck.
Sadly the creator of the series Manfred Trenz isn't credited on this one as he was working on Rendering Ranger R² which is in many ways a technically superior game. It's a shame Factor 5 and Manfred Trenz didn't team up to work on this instalment. The ship from from stage 1 - 4 of Super Turrican 2 does make a cameo at the start Rendering Ranger R².

Super Turrican 2 did get a Wii Virtual console release but only in the USA, it is also included on the Turrican Anthology Vol. 2 collection for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but these are limited to 2000 copies.
