Splatoon 2: Inkopolis Square Start, Marie's Hero Mode, & Exploring Tentakeel Outpost
40So I have the full version of Splatoon 2, now. This video starts after I go through the tutorial again like I did in the demo. There's a way to shortcut through most of it.
After getting through the tutorial, you're sent to Inkopolis Square, the new hangout of all of the young Inklings after the first game's Inkopolis Plaza went out of style, among other things...
As I've explain in my demo test, there are faces, new and old, to meet here. The most prominent new faces you'll see are Pearl the Inkling and Marina the Octoling. Together, they form Off the Hook, and replace the Squid Sisters as the game's news broadcasters and musical celebrities. Pearl's into Rap, while Marina merges that with Pop.

I've decided to do something that I've yet to do in the first game, and play through this game's Hero Mode, its Story Mode.
What happened to the Squid Sisters: Callie and Marie? Well, they had a sort of falling out sometime after the first game's final Splatfest that pitted them directly against each other. Marie won that Splatfest, but Callie had no ill will towards it because they were going to be the Squid Sisters, forever!
...or so it seemed at first.
In the next two years, these cousins found new opportunities beyond they titles as J-Pop superstars. However, these new paths were exclusive to themselves, so they slowly lost time to be together.
Eventually, tragedy struck. Callie has gone missing! And worse, DJ Octavio, the leader of the Octarians, has escaped his crystal ball prison after the efforts of the first game's Agent 3 (your Inkling in that game) to put him in there. Finally, the Great Zapfish as kidnapped again, as well!
As such, Marie, a.k.a. Agent 2, goes through a complete wardrobe change and takes over for her grandpa, Cap'n Cuttlefish, as your mission control for Hero Mode.

In Hero Mode, your Inkling becomes Agent 4, the successor to Agent 3, who was never seen or heard from again. Through Marie's guidance, you are to venture through different areas of the Octarian's new home: Octo Canyon, fighting through all of their forces, and rescuing the small Zapfish that you find in each level. Your top goal is to recover the missing Great Zapfish.
Like before, levels are put into different groups of hub worlds. The first of these hubs is Tentakeel Outpost. Try doing things here like popping the balloons for different items!
