Sitting at the back works well for me initially, just inking, looking for targets, and avoiding trouble. My squidmates are getting in to trouble, though, which is good in a way, but leaves me a bit of a lone target for an orange B-bomb. Not a problem, not with my own charged, and I let its armour protect me before launching the B-bomb at the Tower to keep it safe. My squidmates are back and pushing the Tower, so I do my best to move up to secure more turf, but don't get far. Another B-bomb protects me nicely, as well as stopping the Tower coming our way now, and although one gets charged to no doubt be tossed back my way, I jink to avoid its obvious landing point and get a couple of splats before my position is punished.

The Beakon should save me a little time, so I make use of it, and with some good turf control I feel confident to drop down and move up to the Tower. I get one splat, on the bucket threatening the Tower, but am not quite sure where any other threats are, so just walk around for a bit. Soon enough I find some targets, and apply some pressure to them, jinking to not be a target myself for a B-bomb. That gives me a good view of the turf, and I splat the Dualies coming our way, and see the Heavy Splatling chased down by a squidmate. That creates an opportunity to ride the Tower!

I'm not going to lie, the bucket getting on the Tower with me is something of a surprise, but luckily I may be one to them too. Now we can ride the Tower for a bit in peace. I ink as we go, my squidmates splatting as we go. A B-bomb helps keep me safe again, as well as splatting two orange inklings, even if it stalls the Tower for a moment. I stick to the Tower as best I can, and it's a shame that my aim isn't quite as good as my stickiness. Still, we make excellent progress forwards before I'm splatted.

That's a boldly positioned Beakon a squidmate has left. I make use of it and get a couple of forward splats before looking to see where the Tower is. It's being hassled by orange inklings, so I need to deal with that, which involves getting back in to safe turf. I probably move forwards again a bit too soon, though. The Beakons remain useful, and I'm happy to sit back in defence with our lead, but as my squidmates splat the orange team, the Tower beckons to me.

We push forwards quickly, reaching our previous lead with less trouble than before, but struggle to ride the Tower any further. I think we hit a sweet spot. But with little more than thirty seconds left in the battle and good turf control on our part, victory looks almost assured, we just don't want to make any silly mistakes. I sit off to the side, spraying ink everywhere to look dangerous whilst ducking back in to cover when I can, and despite getting splatted at the last second, it all helps to suppress the orange team and keep them off the Tower. Woomy!
