Splatoon 3: Side Order: Part 8: Cycle 5 - 30F: The End of a New World Order (Final Boss & Ending)
0When you reach 30F for the first time, as Agent 8 & Pearl prepare to storm in and fight Order, Marina wants to go and join them in this fight while Acht stays to watch the elevator.
Pearl worried for Marina about this as she didn't have a weapon with her. Marina insisted on joining the fight anyway as she still felt guilty that all of this mess with Order and the Memverse was all her fault.

As expected, Order was indeed waiting for Agent 8 and their allies at 30F. It continued to believe that the only way forward for the world is to consume it in absolute order. A world with no need for change or variation, or desire or conflict. Order saw a world without all of this as a world of perfection.
But Marina was contrary to this thought process. She understood that not everything that everyone will do with their lives will be perfect, or that some things in the world can go chaotic, but even through imperfections can she still see a world full of life and color. She initially had the same thoughts as Order does now, but now she realized that that's not an ideal way to live! To live without taking risks!
This caused Order to go berserk, as this would've had its creator deny it if it followed Marina's path. So it instead went on the offensive against Agent 8 and Off the Hook, transforming into the gigantic Magistrate of Order: Overlorder!

This fight starts out similarly to when you had to fight Marina, herself. While dodging Overlorder's attacks, you must destroy the tentacle Portals that surround it. This will break its barrier and allow you to pound it down with your ink.
As the fight goes on, the Portals get tougher to break, more of them appear, they start moving around, and Overlorder gains new attacks, such as unleashing Sting Rays, Super Chumps, and even Reefsliders!
This final boss is very significant. You kinda... DON'T want to be forced all the way back to the start of the Spire during this fight!

It would seem that Overlorder was finished, but not quite...
The fight was just a distraction to allow it to finally execute its full rebooting program. It was now ready to unleash its *NEW WORLD ORDER!!!*
It seemed that the entire world of Splatoon was now doomed to freeze in place, but in one final push, Marina tried to shut down Order, herself.
But even as her dear old friend Acht desperately tried to reach out to her, it was all too late...
...or so it seemed...

Press your ZR button, and a beat will start up, and then it swells into a brand new song that wakes Agent 8 up.
Everyone can move again, thanks to Agent 8's vibe and Marina's backing track. It was time for Pearl, Marina, and Acht to team up and help Agent 8 beat Order for good with the combined power of their musical talents!
With Marina & Acht as the DJs, they cracked up the volume to let Pearl attack Order with an all-powerful *BOO-YAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!*
This was enough to have Order uncontrollably move its tentacles to the music. Pearl wanted to teach it to not get hooked and stay OFF THE HOOK!

In this true finale of this final boss, you will start out with an empty Palette. You have to refill it by destroying more Portals.
But here's the special catch: Destroying these Portals will instead give you a supercharged saturation of Color Chips, each of the same type. This will all quickly come together to make Agent 8 very powerful!
Get charged up with all six Color Chip types, and then you can unleash your final weapon on Overlorder: *The Full Spectrum Color Wail!*

At long last, Order was finally no more...
...no more... but a very small mollusk. It was reduced to nothing but a Smollusk!
Since Pearl knew that Smollusk loved their music, she wanted to give Smollusk VIP seats on their world tour as long as it caused no more trouble.
For now, it was time for Pearl, Marina, Acht, & Agent 8 to take an elevator out of the Memverse and back into the real Inkopolis Square.

Enjoy a very relaxing credits sequence to a song called "#47 onward", led by Acht a.k.a. Dedf1sh and featuring Off the Hook as a part of their song.
You get to see cute little moments from time to time between the squad during the elevator ride, too. It looks like Pearl sneezes at one point and Acht blesses her and Marina asks if she was catching a cold (she's fine).
Agent 8 is just blissfully watching the sky as they ascend upwards. This Agent really goes through a lot on their own, don't they?

Indeed, your reward for beating Side Order for the first time IS being able to revisit Inkopolis Square in this game. Meaning you can visit Off the Hook at their studio just like you could visit the Squid Sisters at their own in Inkopolis Plaza.
All three "worlds" of Splatoon are coming together now. What could be done with this...?
Lastly, Side Order's story may be over, but there's still more than can be done in it! Smollusk isn't give up on its desire of a New World Order!
