The sprawling suburb of Douglas is centred on a compact village with mainstream shopping malls, eclectic eateries, and pubs serving traditional Sunday lunches of roast meats. Locals watch popular sports team Nemo Rangers play hurling and Gaelic football at their home ground. Walking and cycling paths cross Ballybrack Woods, and Douglas Golf Club has a 100-year-old course on hilltop parkland, with views over Cork

A selection of Halloween treats
Trick or treat?
This year we've gone BIG on the tastiest Halloween sweet treats. First up is our pumpkin YumnutTM that tops our much-loved, sugar-glazed YumnutTM with spiced fondant in a spooky pumpkin pattern. Try serving it with a pumpkin spiced latte for a true taste of autumn. Looking for ghoulish gift? Pick up our new tragic truffles. The glow-in-the-dark coffin is filled with raspberry red velvet, zombie-pus mint, witches'-brew caramel and orange truffles. Or for a move night munch, tuck into our new horror shock corn that tops crunchy salted toffee popcorn with milk and white chocolate and white choc eyes. And last but not least is our giant Percy that's had a haunting Halloween makeover and is complete with zombie jazzy trousers and green ears and eyes.

Colin is ready for spooky celebrations with colour sprinkles, flowers, bones and a skull-style face. Find the full-size cake in store from 13 October. Can't wait till then? No problem. Pick up mini versions in store now or try our spooky festival Colin cake jar. This pot of heaven layers chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce, choc chips and vanilla-flavoured buttercream. It's then topped with a spooky Colin face.

The haunted house
Not only is this tin filled with devilishly delicious milk chocolate chip cookies in spooky shapes, but the tin also lights up making it the perfect centre piece for your Halloween table or windowsill alongside carved pumpkins and candles.

Marksologist Halloween cocktails
Creepy cocktails
Remember Halloween isn't just for little ones! Spooky season is the perfect excuse to gather your friends and impress by shaking up some wow-worthy cocktails. Our new range of ready-made Marksologist cocktails are easy to prepare and delicious to drink.

For a terrifying twist on negroni, pour our Marksologist golden negroni over ice and then garnish with orange 'fangs'. To prepare the 'fangs', cut an orange into semi circles and then dehydrate in the oven at 90°C fan/110°C/gas mark 1 for two hours. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before cutting the flesh into fang shapes. You can add a little bit of red food colouring here for serious spook! Place the orange 'fangs' on a cocktail sticks and add to the glasses.

Love a margarita, then you need to try our Marksologist verdita margarita that has flavours of coriander, pinapple and jalapeno. Add a Halloween edge to the top-notch tipple by reducing our pomegranate and raspberry juice to a syrup and using it to line the cocktail classes. Coat the rim in salt. Shake the margarita in a cocktail shaker with ice, pour into the glasses and finally garnish with a green chilli. #halloween #pumpkin #jackolantern #scare
