Spyro 1 - Icy Flight (Dragon Rhapsody Vol 2 Preview)
2 weeks without previews? Blasphemy! I'd say things are becoming a lot more busier now, so this means really pushing my all for the release date (which has now been announced!!).
So, here we go with the next preview in line, and the last of which to go by my original webcam recording system (awww...) - Icy Flight, as requested (and repeatedly pestered for at least 2 months, lol) by afists. There's something about the Spyro 1 scores that seem easy to adapt to - they're just fun sculptures with not much need to set a feel but to just follow the melodic progressions along and see what comes to (yet it didn't stop the inclusion of some typical wintry percussion in the background).
The issue I have with speedways is that they give you no means to stall for time whatsoever. So this means that I've had to tow in footage for the Sunny, Night and Crystal flights as well to fill in the 3 minute duration of the track. I'm ok with it though, it was still fun to configure. Plus, I quite appreciate the juggling of the lanterns and arches in the Night Flight recording anyway :D
After this preview, it's all Dazzle from here on out for the last two! Awesome stuff, but that's a tale for another day.
Thanks for watching :D
